McD's Free Mocha Monday

McD's currenty has a free Mocha sample for every Monday. I went out to try an iced mocha and the cup itself was very small, almost like a shot glass, yet they do the whole whipped cream topping on top so it looks like a rather cute, miniature version of their standard ice mocha. I ought to take a picture the next time I grab one.

Strange coffee

McD's McCafe coffees seem to have this taste that kinda lingers with you long after you've finished it. I'm not sure that's a good thing.

Would you like it over-crispy?

I had Jack in the Box's mini sirloin burgers. I was not impressed. In fact, Jack's sirloin burgers haven't really grown on me at all nor the sirloin burgers at other places. It just seems to be a bigger slab of meat and that's all to it. There does seem to be a taste unique to the sirloin burgers but it's not something I'd pay a little extra for.

I also had McD's Ranch BLT grilled chicken. So-so. I think I'm ordering value menu from McD's for the time being unless a craving really hits me. I was going to order value today but a frying pan came out of nowhere and whacked me over the head.

I don't know what it was about today (technically, it's now yesterday since I'm typing this after midnight) but both fries from Jack and McD's were somewhat overcooked and came out too crispy and fried. Was it the weather??

Big Mac

Had the good old #1 today; a Big Mac combo. As much as I like the Double Stacker, it will never replace the Big Mac. I think it's the balance of everything that makes a Big Mac so good; something the Stacker burgers can't replicate and fails even more with each bigger Stacker. Which I guess explains why I prefer the Double Stacker but even then, it kinda feels overboard for me. The meat, cheese, and bacon...really killer I tell ya.
